The STCA Quarterly

Publishing Deadlines

The STCA Magazine will be mailed on a quarterly basis before the end of the last month of each quarter. In order to have the magazine on time, it is of the utmost importance that all ads, articles, reports, etc., be received no later than the dates specified below:

1st Quarter (January/February/March) February 15th
2nd Quarter (April/May/June) May 15th
3 rd Quarter (July/August/September) August 15th
4th Quarter (October/November/December) November 15th

STCA Quarterly Advertising Rates & Policies

Prices listed below include typesetting layout, provided copy is not excessive. Unless otherwise specified, layout and design will be at the discretion of the publisher. Extras or special artwork and design available, priced on request.

If you want to submit a camera-ready ad, it must be on proper quality and size as displayed in the STCA Magazine. (See the Display Rates section below for correct page dimensions.) Pictures must be scanned or submitted for us to scan. If you plan to scan pictures yourself, call for guidelines. We cannot guarantee the quality of photos you scan yourself. Please DO NOT use scotch tape on the front of any pictures, logo or artwork.

Preferred placements are on a first-come, first-pay bases with preference given to color ads. Call for available placement information.

For black and white (B/W) ads, quality color pictures are no problem to convert to quality black and white.

Black and white full page ads include 1 photo. Additional photos in a black and white ad are $10 each. For half-page or smaller ads, the photo is an additional $10.

All color ad rates include 1 color picture of a maximum 4" x 5". Larger color photos may be used; these are priced on request.

• Full Page, 7.5" x 10", 1 photo = $65
• 1/2 Page, 7.5" x 4.75", Camera-Ready, 1 photo = $40
• 1/4 Page, 3.5" x 4.75" Camera-Ready, 1 photo = $20
• 1/4 Page, New Title Holder = $20
• 1/8 Page, Business Card size = $15
• 1/8 Page, Litter Announcement = $15
• Each additional photo, logo, art, clip art = $10

Payment in full MUST accompany all ads. Please make checks payable to the STCA. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of photos. All preferred placements are on a first-come, first-pay bases, with preference given to color ads. All preferred placements include 1 photo.

The front covers of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter issues ONLY are for sale (the front cover of the 1st quarter issue is reserved for the STCA National Specialty winner). Front cover includes a 1/4 page B/W ad.
